Social media is part of my ministry—
a place to share grace,
to speak truth,
to plant seeds of faith.
When I retire, I’ll expand that ministry.
But the internet is not neutral ground.
It is the playground of the great deceiver.
One post.
One twisted verse.
One clever lie—
and hearts are led astray.
The algorithms know I’m a believer.
They flood my feed—
faith and venom side by side.
More distortion than devotion.
More attack than truth.
Scripture turned sideways,
inside out,
until it says what the heart wants—
not what God speaks.
And some go further still…
Some quote Enoch, Jubilees—books outside the canon—
as if they hold equal weight.
But the Church, guided by the Spirit,
discerned the Word that endures.
The pillar and foundation of truth.
(1 Timothy 3:15)
And I see Christians—
followers of Christ—
responding to hate with hate,
violence with violence.
But the one who will judge is Jesus Christ.
Not the noise of our anger.
Not the noise of our pride.
Not the noise of our popularity.
All is written in the Book of Life.
And those who deny Him—
even if baptized,
even if loud—
will face the truth.
The great deceiver’s goal:
to make us gods unto ourselves.
To place our voice above God’s voice.
To make our will louder than His Word.
And when our truth replaces His, Satan has won.
But we are not without hope.
Our God is above all.
We are the Church of the living God.
We are the household of faith.
We are the children of wisdom.
Jesus said to the crowds:
“To what shall I compare the people of this generation?” (Luke 7:31)
A generation that scrolls past sorrow,
swipes away joy,
rejects the prophets,
mocks the Savior.
But wisdom is vindicated by her children.
And we are those children—
if we walk with God,
if we live the truth,
if we speak with love.
So I will keep posting.
I will keep proclaiming—
because His Word is Spirit and life. (John 6:63)
And He has the words of everlasting life.
Let us walk wisely.
Let us walk humbly.
Let us walk with God.
Let us be children of wisdom—
not noise.
Prayer: Children of Wisdom
Lord Jesus,
You are the Word made flesh,
the light in our confusion,
the truth in a world of distortion.
Guard us from the deceiver,
who twists Your Word
and tempts us to exalt ourselves.
Let Your Spirit be our filter,
Your Church our foundation,
Your Gospel our guide.
Make us children of wisdom, not noise—
speaking with love,
standing in truth,
walking in grace.
You alone have the words of everlasting life.
We choose to walk with You.
