There is an appointed time for everything,
and a time for every purpose under heaven.
Yesterday reminded me of that truth.
There was a time for conversation,
reflecting on God's call and the gifts
He places within each of us.
A time to consider humility,
service, and the grace that sustains us
when we say yes to Christ.
There was a time for young people
gathered in faith.
A time for laughter,
prayer,
friendship,
and preparation for Mass.
A time when the Church felt alive,
vibrant,
and full of hope.
There was a time for teaching and learning.
A time spent preparing couples for marriage
and children for Baptism.
A time for those seeking
to know the Lord more deeply
and to grow in their relationship with Him.
And through it all,
Jesus continues to ask
the same question He asked His disciples:
"Who do you say that I am?"
We answer that question not only with our words,
but with our lives.
Through service.
Through prayer.
Through hospitality.
Through simple acts of love.
The Church comes alive
when God's people live their faith.
Every season,
every gift,
and every moment
has a purpose in God's plan.
May we recognize our appointed time,
God's call,
and help others encounter the face of Christ
through the ministry of our lives.
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
thank You for every season
and every calling.
Help me recognize the purpose
You have placed before me today.
Give me a servant's heart,
willing to follow wherever You lead.
Let my words and actions reflect
Your love and grace.
May others see Your face
through the ministry of my life.
Amen.
